The first week of classes has been quite fun. As always theory has been enjoyable especially with a teacher like Dr. Shaftel. My piano class is really nice because there are four people in my class including myself. Women in Lit. is interesting and it only seems to reinforce my beliefs. I'm especially excited this semester because I'm in symphonic band! We're playing so many concerts this semester but it will be really fun. I will have to work really hard on the music though. It's some tough stuff. Probably some of the hardest music I've seen in my life.

Tonight I saw "Pride and Prejudice" with many of my friends. I'll admit I didn't think it would be one of the best movies I've ever seen but I was greatly surprised. The movie was really enjoyable. Not only was the music spectacular but the acting was really good. I also enjoyed the satire. Mr. Collins was especially funny. The point in the movie that really grasped my enthusiasm was during the clarinet solo(what can I say, I'm a clarinet player). It will definitely go on my list of best movies for the year. That's all for now.

God Bless
